Using Units
• Use EM for Padding, Margin, Width, Height, Transforms, & Font Sizes
• Use PX only for things that won't break the design if they don't scale such as border widths & drop-shadow distances
• Use % (optional) for columns inside containers
Scaling
• On tablet and below, change the body font size to PX or higher VW number
• On desktop, the design will scale up seamlessly. It will stop scaling when it reaches the max width of 1440px.
• There is no need to add larger breakpoints
Come in, hang out and have some fun! For anyone who isn’t sure what we are on about, Drop In is essentially our version of a youth club. Drop In runs every week and is a great way of meeting new friends and finding new passions… and it is totally free! Drop In is your space. Whether you want to chill and chat with your friends, play computer games or do something more active or creative, we aim to provide a space for you to just be you. Drop In takes place in our youth hall which has everything you need. There are comfy sofas, games, computers, pool, table tennis, air hockey, and sometimes you can even use our recording studio. Our team of youth workers are there to support you, whether you are in the mood for a quiet bit of nail painting or if you want help arranging a massive game of dodgeball! And if it hasn’t been your day, our team are also trained and equipped to talk you through any issues, questions, challenges or worries you might be facing.

We see a future in which every young person from any background can thrive and grow to become their best selves. A future in which young people become change makers, with clear confident voices that are heard above the noise, exercising both their rights and responsibilities to build a better world.
A youth work charity based in Stowmarket. We work with young people from across Mid Suffolk and beyond. We are committed to effective partnerships with agencies, charities and businesses to ensure young people can co-create and access the best youth work support available.
We run a multipurpose facility, a wide range of provisions for young people and have a trading arm that employs young people and invests its profit into the charity to enable us to continue to grow our impact.
As we emerge from the global pandemic we are eager for all of our face to face services to return. However, we realise that we need to be responsive to the changing situation and ensure the safety of young people, our staff and our other clients at all times. This means that our future plans are more fluid, and less clear than they would usually be.
The Mix has a growth mindset and aims to positively impact an increasing number of young people from across our region. We seek to listen to them and then co-create and develop the activities, support and services that they identify as important for them. To deliver this support we want to:
1) Grow our expertise in supporting young people into employment
2) Develop our 1-1 coaching programmes (face to face and on-line)
3) Support young people to identify and address the factors negatively impacting their emotional health and wellbeing
4) Create pathways for them to develop social action projects that positively impact the communities around them.
Here are the principals that guide us.
1. For all our projects and activities we ask the question: How have young people shaped the conception, development, delivery and evaluation of this project.
2. Within each project we regularly ask if there is any young person whose leadership development we are investing in.
Our aim is to equip young people with the skills and tools to grow as leaders. Firstly, so that they can lead their own lives and then beyond that to be leaders in their peer groups, schools and communities.
