The Mix Hut is a new youth space based at Crowley Park in Needham Market run by The Mix's youth work team.

It will primarily be used for weekly open access youth work sessions for young people aged 11 to 19.

Following several years of detached youth work in the town on Friday evenings, as well as the launch of our café The Duck & Teapot, based at Needham Lake, we are excited to be able to expand what is on offer for young people in Needham Market.

‍

We aim to provide a safe and inclusive space for young people in Needham Market, somewhere they can relax, socialise, engage in fun and enriching activities and to hear about other opportunities that they may wish to attend in their community. They will also be able to access support from our passionate team of youth workers and volunteers.

‍

We have lots of facilities available at The Hut, including pool table, consoles, computers, kitchen facilities, quiet spaces and the outdoor space which includes the new Multi Use Games Area.

‍

Initially The Hut will be open on Friday evenings and Tuesdays during the day, with an increased presence over the school holidays.

‍
