Join Us for The Mix Auction of Promises – An Evening That Makes a Difference
On Friday 26th June, The Mix will host a very special evening bringing together local businesses, supporters, and community champions for our Auction of Promises, a fundraising event dedicated to supporting young people across Suffolk.
Held at The Mix in Stowmarket, this inspiring evening is about more than fundraising. It’s about creating opportunities, strengthening connections, and ensuring young people continue to have access to safe spaces, trusted adults, and the support they need to thrive.
Why This Event Matters
Right now, more young people than ever are facing challenges with mental health, confidence, isolation, difficult home lives, and pressures at school. Youth services are under increasing strain, while demand for support continues to rise.
At The Mix, we see every day how important it is for young people to have somewhere safe to go and someone they can trust.
Since 2013, The Mix has supported thousands of young people through free youth work services, mentoring, school support, inclusive programmes, and wellbeing initiatives. The impact of this work is often quiet but deeply life-changing, helping young people feel understood, valued, and hopeful about their future.
Every pound raised through the Auction of Promises will directly support this work.

We already have some incredible auction prizes lined up, including a Dinner for Two with wine pairing at Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay.
We’re continuing to welcome donations of “promises” from local businesses and supporters. These could include:
- Experiences
- Gift vouchers
- Overnight stays
- Theatre tickets
- Meals out
- Holiday homes or beach huts
- Hampers
- Services or unique opportunities
Every promise donated helps us raise more funds for young people.
